Charming and very pretty vintage ring dating to we believe around the 1960’s featuring an icy pale blue square-cut Topaz.
Constructed from 9ct yellow gold with the 7mm x 7mm Topaz set in a four claw set raised and suspended fashion, to wide flat inverted tapering shoulders.
The shank is wide for the full circumference at 5mm, rendering it a very comfortable ring to wear.
Doubly refractive as Topaz gems are (difficult to photograph!) this little beauty sparkles and exhibits and shoots out crystal clear rays of pale blue to white flashes , truly beautiful.
With the flat style of the band this ring lends itself to a variety of stacking options as any other band will sit against it very well.
‘Face of ring’ 1.5cm
Topaz approx 7mm x 7mm x 5mm OR approx 2cts
Rise from finger 8mm
Band 5mm wide
P 1/2 or 18.1mm diameter
Good vintage condition. Very very minor insignificant abrasions to corner facets seen under x10 magnification only, not noticeable to naked eye. All claws excellent. Shank is wide and lovely to wear, no thinning.
