“Trilogy ring are so symbolic, as we all know they represent the ‘past’ ‘present’ and ‘future’ and are traditionally coveted by young couples, but they can also define ‘friendship’ ‘love’ and ‘fidelity’
These rings have not and will every fade out of popularity given they can make the perfect gift for so many occasions”.
This rare and unusual example of the traditional Trilogy ring features three uniform sized round Australian cabochon solid Opals in ‘cross over’ style.
Dating we believe to around 1930-40 and of quality manufacture as the three Opals have been hand chosen for their very individual colour. One of a predominately green hue, one with blue tones and lastly one with a pink overtone. Together they compliment and contrast with one another in a stunning and mesmerising fashion.
Modelled in 9ct rose gold the three mesmerising and luminous Opals are each multi-claw set in scalloped low profile gallery between two parallel rose gold arms, subtle, refined and allow the Opals to take centre stage.
Strong firm and comfortable half round shank.
With hallmarks we cannot identify unfortunately, in Australian style with three cartouche, we strongly believe this ring is early Australian.
Deliciously different, this ring receives compliment where ever she goes.
