Charming and very fine quality Victorian combination propelling pencil and ‘dip pen’ fully hallmarked for manufacture by William Val & Sons and date stamp for 1894.
Beautifully made featuring fine engine turned patterning throughout and ornate ‘sliders’.
Both dip pen and pencil propel and retract fluidly, are in excellent condition, and the pencil retains its original lead!
Used by calligraphers and artists these day this piece would make a wonderful gift for the aspiring artist in your family.
