Charming Victorian Sterling Silver Brooch with rose and green gold accents.
Charming Victorian Sterling Silver Brooch with rose and green gold accents.
Wonderfully ornate with exquisite chasing and featuring a central oval panel which displays a foliate group accented in bright and lush rose gold to the roses and green gold to the leaf motifs.
Measuring a pleasing 4cm x 2.7cm and retaining its original pin and C clasp to the verso.
Hallmarked clearly to the back for William Clark Manton of Hylton Street Birmingham who registered for business in 1881.
These lovely antique brooches are as wearable today as they were over 130 years ago.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. C claps and pin are original with no re-soldering. Gold accents are bright. Minor marks to silver here and there and are insignificant. One tiny ball embellishment to outer border is missing and one or two have small dings, this does not detract from the beauty of this brooch.
