Antique Victorian Salmon Coral And Pinchbeck Cross Circa 1870

Large and lovely natural coral Victorian cross / crucifix dating to around 1870.
Set with around 43 individual half drilled and individually wire set salmon coral buttons, attached to the verso to original pinchbeck (possibly low carat gold) supports.

With another coral button set to an over sized bale which will accommodate most chains.

Measuring a lovely large 7cm x 3.9cm, striking in both is lush colour and size.

Good antique condition. Coral is lovely, no chips or missing coral buttons. Supporting bar to verso has been reinforced at some stage in history, old repair, very sturdy now. Slight early solder repair to bale
