An antique Amethyst Riviere rendered in gold gilt silver very typical of the era and set with nine hand-cut natural pale Amethyst often called ‘Rose de France’ for their very pale lilac pink hue.

Featuring nine graduated Amethysts ranging from the largest at approximately 4.50cts (12mm x 10mm) to the smallest at 2.50ct (11mm x 9mm).
Each high quality faceted Amethyst is four claw set to open back surrounds which allow the light to show these stunning natural coloured Amethysts to their best advantage.

These Riviere’ don’t present to the market often especially in this condition and of this colour, what a wonderful addition this would make for any serious antique jewellery.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition.  The Amethysts are stunning, pale lilac pink in colour with no chips or abrasions, natural very faint inclusions and natural colour zoning which is beautiful.  All claws excellent and secure.  The gold over silver is bright and the necklace looks like gold.  Clasp fully functional and secure.  Stunning early Riviere.
