Antique Victorian Large **Gold Cased** Quartz Seal Circa 1890
Crafted in **gold cased** style common in this era, we have had this one XRF tested as 13ct gold over base metal, probably silver.
Very lush in hue, bright, ornate with scrolling work and floral rosettes, and a good sized top loop measuring approx 5mm to accommodate a nice sized chain or bolt ring if you prefer.
To the base is a large clear white bevelled edged quartz which bears no inscription or intaglio.
This large piece measures 3.5cm tall and is hefty at 17.7 grams, so she feels as wonderful as she look once around the neck.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. Gold casing has worn slightly in some high points but to the naked eye is not noticeable. Very bright and high carat gold in appearance. Quartz is in very good condition, minor marks only, no chips. Heavy beautiful piece.
