Large and ornate Victorian gold cased fob seal dating to the early to mid Victorian era circa 1850.
A nice large example measuring 3.0cm tall, with stylised acanthus leaf pillars and a floral border to the base and the large tubular bale.
Set to the base with an uninscribed creamy white Chalcedony measuring 1. X 1.6cm which is in lovely condition for its age.
A soft and mellow hued yellow gold this striking and popular antique fob looks stunning on a variety of chains!

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. Some minor losses to gold casing on corners and high points but this is not very noticeable to the naked eye. No chips or abrasions to Chalcedony. Large and heavy antique fob seal.
