Delightful pair of Victorian earrings dating to around the 1870’s or thereabouts.
Crafted from 18ct gold to the main ovoid or Navette shaped section and 9ct gold to the fancy shepherds hook ear wires. The wires are original, they would have been crafted in 9ct for strength and durability.
The Navette shaped drops are three dimensional, hollow, with Etruscan style wire work surrounding a plain raised section to which a single creamy white half Pearl is ‘Star’ set to the centre. A rope work also surrounds the entire circumference of the main section.
Measuring a lovely noticeable 3.5cm drop from the ear and articulated between the hooks and body these stunning Victorian earrings will not disappoint!

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Hooks are original and long and sturdy. Pearls are original, no re-gluing. No major dents to rear only one small ‘dint’ or impression to each - see photos or video - insignificant. Stunning earrings.
