Worn by ladies usually at the waist, Sash buckles were worn mostly during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.

This fine and large example measures an impressive 7cm x 6cm, the Pastes are antique cut, white bright and lovely.

Pretty enough to be a vanity item amongst your other antique collectibles.. but.. this gorgeous piece of Victoriana should and could be worn on a thick velvet (or leather?) sash around the waist on that little black dress!  Wouldn’t she be a conversations starter!

Faceted Old cut Paste

Sterling Silver and Gilt over brass or similar

Very very good antique contrition.  No chips or abrasions to Pastes.  Cut down settings are lovely and secure.  Slight loss to gilt, nothing at all significant.
