Crafted around the late Victorian era or just into the early Edwardian years and modelled as a symbolic photo locket.

Modelled from 9ct yellow gold throughout and double sided, one side with its original glass fronted photo locket compartment which is easy to remove and add your own photo or a loved one or pet perhaps, art work or dried flowers from a special occasion.

To the other side is the most exquisite royal blue enamel guillochè panel studded with gold Ivy leaves, tiny floral roundels and to the centre one single tiny Star.

The Ivy leaf theme is featured around the entire hexagonal frame, both front and back and one imagines this symbolic Ivy leaf motif combined with the ability to add a loved one photo represents the love, dedication and commitment to a beloved family member or spouse.

Very good to excellent antique condition. Guillochè enamel is lovely, vibrant with no chips. Photo locket section is easy to remove to add your own special photo etc. Lovely original piece.
