Dating to the late Victorian era this superb celestial crescent brooch epitomises all things beloved by the Victorians.
Crafted from 15ct rose gold and modelled as a bar brooch with all the diamonds set in silver as per the era, and beautifully crafted throughout.
The central diamond set to the centre of the crescent is eight claw set and weighs approximately 0.20ct, the two flanking end diamonds are also eight claw set and weigh approximately 0.10ct each.
The crescent itself is set with a further thirteen diamonds weighing in total approx 0.50ct.
A substantial piece of jewellery this beauty measures 5.5cm end to end and the crescent is 2cm in diameter.

Very good to excellent antique condition. Diamonds are all bright white and lively, approx G-H colour and range from VSI to SI2 clarity. All claws very secure and present. Original secure roll-over C clasp, pin is non gold which is quite typical and used for strength and durability. Original safety chain and pin.
