Antique Victorian Bohemian Garnet Necklace And Pendant Circa 1890-1900
The large pendant is styled in three tiered fashion with an array of pear-cut, round and oval rose cut Bohemian garnets and measures an exceptional 4.2cm x 3.8cm.
Suspending the pendant is the splendid rosette cluster necklace, comprised of thirty eight rosettes each set with seven garnets and one larger rosetted which attaches in hinged fashion the large pendant.
Measuring a surprisingly good length of 47.5cm the necklace is secured with a small bolt ring clasp and also has another safety chain with a further small bolt ring clasp for added security.
In simply lovely condition this impressive piece is sure to be cherished for generations to come.
Bohemian Garnet - Pyrope
Locket 4.2cm x 3.8cm
Necklace - 47.5cm
Very very good antique condition. All Garnet are in very good condition, all bar one appear original, one seems to be a pear shaped cabochon as compared to a rose cut faceted but this is very hard to see and does not detract from the beauty and quality of the piece. Clasp works perfectly and extra safety chain does also. Lovely piece.
