Antique Victorian Bohemian Garnet ‘Fringe’ Necklace Circa 1890-1910
Designed as full circle of floret garnet clusters graduating to the largest at the front and featuring seven also graduated drops.
Rich and deep in hue the garnets are all rose-cut Bohemians, all original and with no distasteful replacements or re-glues… quite exceptional condition for her age.
A similar necklace can be seen in the 1899 Benjamin Allen Catalogue’.
Antique bohemian garnet fringe necklaces such as these are becoming increasingly hard to source in this condition, snap this beauty up, she won’t last long.

Very good to excellent antique condition. All Garnets original, no re-glues, no chips or damage. Clasp works perfectly. Originally would have had a little safety chain, frankly, we find these a nuisance and can get caught in your hair! A replacement if required would be easy to source. No losses to gold gilt finish to rear. Lovely condition.
