Utterly charming Bohemian rose cut Garnet bangle dating to the late Victorian to possibly the very early Edwardian era.


To the front are large graduated rose cut Garnets with tiny rose cuts interspersing and to the outside and to the rear of the bangle are non-graduated rose cut Garnets.

The pomegranate red Bohemian rose cut garnets are luscious in colour and set in bead claw silver settings and the bangle itself is in Tombac - or  ‘Garnet gold’  which is an alloy of cooper and zinc used to imitate gold and very commonly used in Bohemian Garnet jewellery during this era.

Closing securely with a push in box clasp and retaining her original safety chain also.

In superb condition throughout this wonderful piece of Victoriana is an asset to any jewellery wardrobe.

Very very good antique condition.  All Garnets are original, no replacements, no chips or abrasions and very securely set.  Box hinge is very secure, opens an closes perfectly. Original safety chain.  Lovely condition.
