Antique Victorian Banded Agate Fob Pendant Circa 1900

Large and stunning blue banded agate Victorian fob pendant.

Traditionally worn from an Albert chain by a fine Victorian wealthy gentleman these gorgeous antique pieces are now favoured as pendants and make a stunning addition to any #neckmess!

Almost certainly early Australian as indicated by the elongated style and the tell-tale ‘9ct’ stamp to the rose gold cap.

The agate is stunning, featuring a variety of teal blue, green blue, translucent and pale green blues!

Quite unusual to see an example like this in the blue banded agate and the size is large at 4.2cm x 1.5cm.

Blue banded agate
4.2cm x 1.5cm Excluding bale
5.7cm drop with bales
7.92 GRAMS
(Large oval jump ring is stamped 15ct gold)
Lovely antique condition.  Agate is smooth glossy and free from scratches or chips.  9ct rose gold cap has a wonderful old rose gold patina.  Hallmark faded but visible. Jump rings probably later additions, large one is stamped 15ct.
