Measuring a very pleasing 6cm x 4cm and crafted from 9ct yellow gold and set with three large unheated Amethysts with a total carat weight of approximately 21ct.
A hidden hinged bale is present and could be used to wear this beauty as a pendant, the addition of one more link would be needed to facilitate this.
Set amongst rococo styled scrolling open gold work, beautifully crafted, this one is a must for the serious Victorian or Amethyst collector.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. Amethyst are stunning with no chips or abrasions, all claws original and present. Gold shows no dents, lovely and bright. Early solder repair to verso beneath the rollover clasp, stable and not visible to the front, does not affect the beauty of this piece. Overall a very beautiful Victorian brooch with the most stunning Amethysts!
