Dating to the Victorian era circa 1880 this wonderful and ingenious ‘tool’ would have been a must-have for and well to do Victorian lady.
Designed as a hard to find and highly sought after combination propelling pencil, toothpick and nib-pen and crafted in 9ct gold *cased*.
Beautifully engraved throughout with raised ‘fancy’ sliders for the toothpick and nib-pen, and an engraved grip section to slide the pencil, which, miraculously still retains its original lead!
Used by calligraphers and artists these day this piece would make a wonderful gift for the aspiring artist in your family.
