Antique Victorian 9ct And Silver Old Mine / Rose Cut Diamond Brooch Circa 1890

Collections: Sold Archive

Exceptionally pretty antique Diamond brooch dating to the mid to late Victorian era and styled in a garland leaf shaped floral design.

Crafted from 9ct rose gold with the floral motif and diamonds set in silver and to center set with a cushion shaped Old Mine cut diamond of approximately 0.18ct (H-I - SI2), eight claw set.

Surrounding the central diamond are a total of 30 small diamonds, rose-cuts measuring approximately 1.2mm to 2.4mm.

To one end of the brooch is set a solitary little creamy white natural river pearl.

Literally as pretty as a picture this bright, sparkly antique brooch adorns any shirt, or jacket lapel or simply hang this one from an antique chain and wear as a pendant!
