This beautiful buttery Victorian 22ct yellow gold wedding band is timeless and classically simple in design.
Modelled from rich and bright yellow 22ct gold that has the highly attractive patina from age.
With an original date dedication inside the band ‘2.9.97’ indicating this one was manufactured and given was a wedding band in or around 1897.
Wide and hefty at 5mm wide and a considerable 6.80 grams this lush ring feels incredible on the finger and would suit any gender perhaps as a sustainable ethical choice as a wedding band.
No hallmarks this is an English ring, hallmarks lost to a resizing.
Date deduction ‘2.9.97’ and initials ‘C.H’ in olde script

Very good antique 124 year old condition. No thinning to band, internal dedications shallow but legible, could be removed by a jewellery if desired.
