DESCRIPTION (Please scroll to the bottom to view video)
Victorian jewellery perfection at finest we are thrilled to offer this superb antique Serpent brooch.
Dating to the late Victorian era circa 1880 and crafted from lush buttery 23ct gold (XRF Tested) and modelled as a coiled Serpent resplendent with his Ruby and diamond set head and fantastic forked tongue and razor sharp teeth.
His crowning glory consists of an antique cut oval faceted Ruby surrounded by eight rose cut diamonds further embellished with Etruscan wire work and beading. Two tiny rose cut diamonds glisten seductively for his eyes.
Coiled and twined around himself, sinuous and curvaceous, all in high carat lush buttery gold, this is perhaps one of the finest of its type we have seen.
A must for the serious collector, fine examples such as this rarely present to the market.
