Superb Victorian ring crafted from 18ct yellow gold and fully hallmarked for Birmingham and date stamped for 1876.
A 19th century beauty with the quality we expect during this era and designed as a Navette shaped ring set with a horizontal row of natural old cut round Rubies, all bead claw set, to a surround or fourteen half Pearls (would be natural as cultured Pearls first used in 1893).
A slightly raised gallery displays a fancy inverted arch open work to split ribbed shoulder and a thick half round shank.
Stunning, feminine, low to the finger, and in incredible condition, this exquisite ring is a pleasure to wear and lights up a room when ever she is seen!

Very very good antique condition. All Pearls original, well matched, no re-glues. Variation in colour from creamy white, silvery white, and very pale peach white. No losses to nacre. Rubies are lovely, no chips, cracks or abrasions. Setting is substantial, thick and showing no thinning. Hallmarks are very crisp and clear. Stunning ring.
