Classic hand crafted 18ct yellow gold ring dating to the late 19th century or just on the turn or the century.

With a scrolling ‘carved’ gallery which is one of the prettiest and finest we have seen and set with five old mine cut diamonds in slightly graduated fashion, all claw set mostly in platinum.

A very interesting and beautiful detail to this ring is the two end diamonds outer 4 claws are yellow gold, as is the scrolled and carved under-gallery to these two end diamonds allowing for a smooth transition to the yellow gold shoulders.

A hint of colour to the central and two end diamonds we believe would have been intentional and chosen to add just the slightest whisper of colour to this already striking antique ring.

The attention to detail, the profile and the carved gallery of this ring is stunning and is a testament to the master jeweller who originally hand crafted this ring.

With a finger spread east to west measuring 1.8cm this beauty is a stand out.
Measured in their settings the diamonds weigh just under one carat approx 0.90ct.  However these are ‘deep’ diamonds and if removed for accurate weighing the TDW would be one carat.
