Stunningly large 6cm x 3.5cm (with bale) Victorian memorial locket pendant dating to the late Victorian era circa 1880.

Oval in style with a large and roomy 18ct yellow gold bale and set to the center with a ‘Star’ motif set with a good sized half Pearl.

To the verso is a large glass locket compartment with a gold rim and original glass, and inside is several pieces or old card, a photo and a piece of antique taffeta? We have chosen to leave all these original pieces inside but of course you can remove them and add your personal mount or photo.

The Onyx is in wonderful condition with no wear or scratches, the bale is large enough to accommodate a good sized chain. This beauty truly speaks for itself!

CONDITION

Very very good antique condition. No scratches to Onyx. Bale is lovely and bright 18ct gold. Rim to rear fits well but is also easy to remove so you can add your own photos etc. Pearl is lovely and white and well set.
