Antique Victorian 15ct Black Enamel Seed Pearl Ring Birmingham 1868

Dating to the Mid Victorian era and hallmarked for manufacture in Birmingham with date letter 'T' for 1868.

Crafted form 15ct yellow gold this poignant little ring is set with four small half seed pearls to a background of black enamel to a scrolling and ornate border of gold. 

With openwork and scrolling shoulders extending to a shank which has a fine wreath like foliate chasing, truly beautiful.

Low profile, dainty but as wearable, with care, as it was 154 years ago.

Very good antique condition.  Slight disruption to enamel here and there, small losses to Pearls nacre.  No thinning to shank, hallmarks crisp and clear.
