Charming ‘Rolled Gold’ long guard/muff chain dating to around the turn of the century and manufactured by ’T+H’ - Thomas Hopwood of 27-27 Branston Street Birmingham established in 1852.
Renowned for their rolled gold, gold filled and gold cased chains and jewellery (see photo) these quality crafted chains were made to last and last they have!
Measuring 140cm in length and weighing a substantial 37 grams with its original dog-clip with Thomas Hopwoods ’T+H’ stamp this chain can be styled in so many versatile ways and is solid and sturdy enough to carry a large locket of pendant if desired.
Warm golden yellow in hue and constructed of round and thick belcher style links this antique chain looks and feels wonderful around the neck.
