Antique Late Victorian Royal Worcester ‘Peacock’ Porcelain Scent Bottle Circa 1890

Collections: Sold Archive

An exquisite example by Royal Worcester featuring a Peacock to the front and the image continues to wrap around beautifully to the back of they ‘lay down’ porcelain scent bottle.

A simple small cork stopper fits snuggly ( this may be original, or perhaps a replacement ) and to the  the bottom of the verso we find the puce Royal Worcester stamp.

Wouldn’t this one be a lovely addition to one vanity table or porcelain cabinet collection.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. No chips or repairs.  Who running fingers down the two edges there is a tiny feeling of roughness, under x10 loupe magnification this appears to be a disruption to the glaze where the stand would have held the bottle during final firing.  Beautiful piece or Royal Worcester.
