Quite the superb antique guard or long chain crafted around the late Victorian era to very early Edwardian era circa 1900.
Modelled from 9ct rose gold with small elongated belcher links and beautifully spaced with alternating cultured round creamy white Pearls and the most delicious faceted Amethyst rondels!
Each Amethyst is unique, hand cut of course, and each a beautiful and varied hue of purple.
The chain itself is a long 118cm (46 inches) in length, not counting the pretty faceted finished swivel dog clip.
Loop this gorgeous chain twice around thence with ease, pop your favourite pendant or locket on the dog clip, the styling options are many!

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. No repairs or damage to be seen. Pearls are lovely, creamy white and quite lustrous. Amethyst rondels lovely, beautiful colour and show not chips, only miniscule marks here and there seen under x 10 loupe only. Dog clip works fine, particularly pretty as its a faceted finish. Lovely chain.
