A splendid example of the always popular antique Georgian era ‘split ring’.

A finely crafted, hefty and solid piece weighing 3.3 grams, crafted from 9ct yellow gold, and featuring detailed engraving for the full circumference.

Large in diameter at 2.3cm and wide at 2.1cm, this fabulous split ring retains its original and tight mechanism and allows you to add not a few but many pendants, lockets or charm, as many as you heart desires!

Not only useful for its original purpose, but given the large size we have seen these stunning Georgian pieces worn as finger rings - this one is an exceptional size U or 10 1/4 when measured on a ring mandrel, so a dual purpose piece of jewellery if desired!

A must have for any serious jewellery wardrobe, this beauty will not disappoint.
