This exquisite Antique Georgian 15ct Yellow Gold Half Hoop Natural Half Pearl Ring, circa 1815–1825, is a stunning example of early 19th-century craftsmanship.

Featuring a delicate arrangement of graduated natural half pearls, set in cut-down settings, the ring showcases a charming variation in pearl colour—from creamy white to slightly darker hues—adding to its antique allure. The pearls, all appearing original, exhibit very minor nacre loss, without detracting from the ring’s historical character.

The channeled shank, typical of the Georgian era (1714–1837), remains crisp and well-preserved, with no significant thinning. A previous resize, done in antiquity, is faintly visible under magnification but expertly executed, remaining strong and nearly imperceptible to the naked eye.

The ring’s lovely finger spread of 2.1cm and modest rise ensure a graceful yet striking presence on the hand.

Presenting in very good antique condition, this ring will fit a size P or US 7 3/4 and can be resized up two–three sizes or down three.

A similar design is referenced in “Rings 1800–1910: A Study of English and Related Designs” by Verlaine Davies, underscoring its historical significance. This ring is a rare and elegant piece, perfect for collectors or those seeking a timeless Georgian treasure.

CONDITION
Very very good antique Georgian condition.  Pearls all appear original, very minor nacre loss, variations in colour observed, some a a creamy white, others slightly darker, but this just add to the charm!  Shank is very good, no real thinning to mention, under magnification only a previous resize done in antiquity can just be seen, this is very well executed, strong and barely visible to the naked eye.  The shank is in typical channelled/grooved fashion of the era with the channel nice and crisp with no wearing down.  No other issues to note.
