Dating to the early part of the 20th century this charming and very pretty lay-down perfume flask fits beautifully in to the hand just as it should!
Hand painted throughout with a sweet pastoral scene of two young courting couples to both the front and back, and surrounded with ornate hand painted gold gilt.
The hinged cap is in silver and bears two tiny French hallmarks and inside we find the original porcelain stopper.
A sweet addition to any ones vanity table collection.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Painting is lovely, no losses or wear. Hinged silver cap bears a few marks and slight patina here and there, closes very tightly. Original porcelain stopper would not hold ‘water’ or perfume.. as it is loose.. but it is original?! We suggest to use this lovely bottle for decorative purposes only!
