Simply breathtaking and slightly unusual antique 9ct rose gold double drop lavalier dating to the Edwardian era.
Crafted from 9ct rose gold and set with a large central oval faceted Citrine measuring 16.6mm x 13.0mm or approx 8cts, surrounded by a scrolling frame to four claw set faceted round Garnets.
Dropping below and suspended by two 9ct gold trace chains is a pear-cut faceted measuring 19.6mm x 10mm or approx 6ct Citrine with a further three round faceted Garnets set in trefoil style in side an inverted heart shape frame.
All of the above is suspended by two ‘knife edge’ bars to which a russet orange hued Hessonite Garnet is set to then a lovely rose gold trace chain secured by a push-in barrel clasp.
This glorious and unusual warm toned lavalier is beautifully made and in just lovely condition.
