Crafted by Henry Griffiths And Sons - Birmingham - in 1913 - and crisply hallmarked as such, this substantial 18ct yellow gold traditional signet ring is simply superb.
Designed as an intaglio signet ring with a cockerel or rooster emblazoned to the centre, as crisp and clear today as he was when crafted 110 years ago.
‘Known as the herald of the dawn the cockerel / rooster has been revered by many cultures and seen as a symbol of confidence, protection and good luck’.
A substantial and heavy ring at a lovely 9.9 grams, low rise and finger hugging, this handsome ring feels as good as she looks on the finger.
