Antique Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold Diamond ‘Lovers Knot’ Ring circa 1915

Collections: Sold Archive

Incredibly coveted early 20th century ‘Lovers Knot’ ring symbolising eternal love which cannot be untied, and, we believe the the three/trilogy diamonds may also represent Past, Present and Future.

Crafted from rich buttery 18ct gold yellow gold with interlocking knots featuring beautiful deep engraved sections and in graduated fashion three diamond motifs with gypsy star set antique cut diamonds.

The figural knots can also be seen to the underside - see photos - and its beauty is a testament to the craftsmanship of this lovely early ring.

A thick and wide half round shank compliments this superb and substantial 6.5 gram ring perfectly.

Fully hallmarked for London, however the date stamp is slightly faded but this ring would date between 1905-1920.
