An antique Edwardian 18 carat yellow gold Amethyst and diamond ring designed in the classic bridge style, a style which is as popular today as it was a century ago.
Featuring a very vibrant central round brilliant-cut Amethyst, flanked by two further slightly smaller equally vibrant Amethysts, and interspersed by four bright and beautiful single-cut diamonds sparkle with lively brilliance, creating a stunning contrast against the rich deeply saturated gemstones.
The Amethysts are exceptionally bright, their regal tones beautifully enhanced by the warmth of the 18ct yellow gold and the crisp sparkle of the bright white diamonds.
Adding to its charm, the under-gallery is exquisitely carved and scrolled, with ornate shoulders that showcase the fine craftsmanship of the Edwardian era.

Excellent antique condition. This is a finely made ring, substantial in manufacture, small in size - J 1/2. All the Amethysts are of excellent quality, no chips, facet wear or abrasions, all very well set and secure. All diamonds are bright and lively, also very well set and secure. No thinning to shank, strong and solid. No issues to note.
