Antique Early Victorian Winged Diamond And Turquoise Cherub Brooch Circa 1850/60’s

Dating to the early Victorian era circa 1850-60’s an incredibly rare and exquisite diamond winged Turquoise cherub brooch.

The wings are set with sixteen rose cut diamonds and to the centre is the sweetest faced cherub, or cupid if you like, with a hint of a Mona Lisa smile, carved beautifully from natural Turquoise.

Crafted in 9ct gold (to the back, tested via XRF) and silver topped for the diamonds, this exceptional piece retains its original pin and C clasp to the verso.

These are known as ‘Unicorn’ pieces.. rare items that we all desire but rarely are seen presenting to the market for purchase.

Wouldn’t this be a special once in a lifetime future family heirloom.
