Charming and early piece of Australian history crafted from 15ct rose gold in the style of a sign ring.
Uninscribed and in its original condition, this highly polished and smooth ring hugs the finger beautifully and is one of the most comfortable rings we’ve had the pleasure of wearing.
Hallmarked with 15ct and unusual to find hallmarks - ‘G’ / Crown / Lion which indicate manufacture by and early South Australian jeweller ( see Australian Jewellers - Gold & Silversmiths Makers & Marks -Cavill Cocks and Grace).
Buttery, lush and the lovely rose hue that only antique and especially antique 15ct rose gold exhibits this ring is a rare and unusual pie suitable for the savvy collector of early Australian history.
