Antique Chester Sterling Silver Sovereign Case - By William Neale 1899

Collections: Sold Archive

Possibly the largest and heaviest antique sovereign case we’ve had the pleasure of offering and to add to its attraction it is also a collectible ‘Chester’ assayed piece and hallmarked crisply for William Neale and dated letter for manufacture in 1899.

The finest engine turning we’ve seen to both front and verso and a round uninscribed cartouche just waiting (or not) for your initials to be engraved.

This antique beauty weight a staggering 30 grams and, with top ring, drops an impressive 5cm.  Add this collectible but also very attractive piece of antique jewellery to your favourite silver, or gold, watch chain, she will not disappoint.
