Fine example of a Victorian/Early 20th century Bohemian garnet bangle studded with a plethora of lush dark plumy red Garnets.
Featuring a mix of flat and rose-cut garnets to the front and two rows of rose-cuts to the back segment of the bangle.
Set in ‘Garnet gold’ or more precisely ‘Tombac’ which is a which is an alloy of coper and zinc used to imitate gold and very commonly used in Bohemian Garnet jewellery during this era.
Substantial at over 18 grams and looks incredible on the wrist.

Good antique condition. All Garnets are original, no apparent damage, minor nick to one or two garnets seen under magnification only. Clasp closes securely, original safety chain also. Nice patina to tombac. Lovely bangle!
