Perhaps one of the loveliest early Australian Willis and Sons double sided photo lockets we’ve had the pleasure of offering.

Crafted around the turn of the century from bright 15ct yellow gold and featuring the most simple and elegant ball and diamond embellishments to the outer frame with each diamond motif set with a natural white seed half pearl.

Retaining its original two bevelled glass inserts held securely inside the frame to which at the top has an easy to use push down clasp for if and when you want to pop a treasured photo inside.

Hallmarked to the verso on one of the diamond shaped motifs with Willis and Sons trademark Unicorn, 15, and the M.J.A of Victoria guarantee mark of the ‘hanging fleece’ for 15ct.

CONDITION

Excellent antique condition. All pearls white and original. Gold has a lovely patina, nice and bright yellow. Glass original and with only very superficial marks, only noting for accuracy.
