All original antique 9ct yellow gold Australian double Albert watch chain dating to the early Edwardian era.
Rarely do we see this quality, craftsmanship and weight, at spot on 60 grams this beauty is hefty and retains its original T-bar, two dog clips, large jump rings and the extra chain to which a fob would have been purchased to compliment this chain over 100 yeas ago.
Stamped 9ct to each and every link, dog clips, both large jump rings and T-bar with ‘9c’ in the early Australian manner.
The colour is lovely.. pale yellow gold with that indefinable hue neither true yellow or true rose gold, that between colour only the early jewellery can possess.
Substantial in length at 42cm (16.5 inches) this truly lovely and original chain is quality through and through.
In our opinion given the condition of this chain ( no thinning at all between any links ) she has had very little wear in here 100 plus years of age and will last for another century or two!
42 cm in length
9c to every link and every component
Excellent antique condition. No thinning to any links, rings, or dog clips. Clips retain their original springiness and close securely. Incredible chain.Purchase Summary
