Handcrafted from 9ct rose gold and Nephrite Jade sometimes also called Greenstone.
With a chased 9ct cap with Art Nouveau style floral motifs this is a particularly pretty example.
Styled as a **Pounamu, in traditional toki (adze) shape which represents strength and courage,  and capped with hand engraved 9ct gold measuring a lovely 4.4cm excluding jump ring and 1.3cm at its widest point.

History of Pounamu

Pounamu or greenstone are terms for several types of hard and durable stone found in southern New Zealand. They are highly valued in New Zealand, and carvings made from pounamu play an important role in Māori culture. Geologically, pounamu are usually nephrite jade, bowenite, or serpentinite.
With hallmarks for ‘9 W” for Willis and Sons and indicating this piece was made after  1904.
