Pretty as a picture this fine antique Australian bangle dates to the early Edwardian era and is crafted from 9ct rose gold with ‘blooming’ to the gorgeous front panel giving a mellow yellow hue.
Set with three Garnets (or perhaps Garnet doublet) and two tiny rough cut diamonds in star gypsy style settings and featuring a lovely ornate rope twist detail and full floral embellishments to either side.
Stamped with makers makes ‘WM’ and ‘9c’ in the Australian manner this piece is not fully attributable but is possibly by William Masterson working out of Perth during this era.
A pleasure to wear and in excellent antique condition these fine Australian pieces, especially in this condition, are becoming increasing hard to source. Perfect for the antique Australian jewellery collector or anyone who appreciates fine antique jewellery!
