Dating to around the early 20th century this classic example of a New Zealand nephrite jade or ‘Pounamu’ greenstone heart is quite large at 4cm x 3.5cm not including the impressive and thick 14ct gold bale.
Lustrous and a rich medium to deep green, beautifully speckled when held up to the light, very versatile and can be worn on a gold chain or trend it up and pop it on a green velvet ribbon for those special occasions.
