Important and early Australian Edwardian piece by one of our early Australian jewellery firms Willis and Sons.
Crafted around 1910 from 9ct rose gold in Lavaliere style and set with four of the most beautiful natural Aquamarines we have seen.
From the 9ct rose gold trace chain there are two cushion cut Aquamarines measuring approximately 7 x 5 x 3mm or approx 0.60ct each.
From these Aquas are two curved bars which arch beautifully to the next cushion cut Aquamarine measuring 9.5 x 6.5mm or approximately 1.10ct.
Suspended below is the very pretty drop which displays a curving foliate motif with three sweet little natural half seed Pearls and then there is the most stunning pear cut Aquamarine measuring approximately 16 x 7.5 x 5mm or 2.20cts.
All the Aquamarines are natural, pale to light medium blue, beautifully faceted and eye clean in clarity.
Hallmarked clearly with Willis and Son iconic symbol of the ‘Unicorn’, ‘9’ and ‘W’ for Willis after 1904.
Immaculate and in almost unworn condition this piece would could be the perfect birthday present for any March baby, or a very special 19th wedding anniversary present.
