A magical and sentimental piece of antique Australian jewellery which embodies not one, but two historically symbolic elements.. the Sword and the Heart.
Long known for signifying strength and protection the sword, or dagger, combined with the central Heart motif represents a love token given to the recipient expressing the givers desire to love an protect!
Crafted from lush and bright 9ct rose gold, set with half seed Pearls to either end, and a stunningly vibrant pear-cut Amethyst to a Heart shaped engraved motif in the centre.
A long example at an eye-catching 7cm, this exceptionally pretty antique brooch can be worn in any orientation, up, down, diagonally, or facing down which symbolises peace.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. No chips or abrasions to Amethyst, very vibrant, multi claw set and secure. Seed Pearls original bar one, tiny pearl to arrow point is a replacement, a tad small for the setting, noting for accuracy only. Pin and C clasp original. No repairs.
