Perfectly pretty antique Australian pendant necklace or negligee pendant if you prefer by one of our best early Australian jewellers Duggin, Shappere and Co., and hallmarked with their ‘Anchor’ symbol, 9 and the ‘wheatsheaf’ guarantee mark used by the Manufacturing Jewellers Association of Victoria.

Crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a central open work circle of natural half seed Pearls with a centre round Pearl.

Suspended below are two drops in slightly asymmetrical style ‘negligee style’ set with further half seed Pearls and two articulated baroque shaped Pearls which dance prettily with movement.

A 9ct gold trace chain measuring a generous 42cm allows this one depending on neck circumference to sit below the collar bones.

In lovely condition for its age this special piece of Australian history by one of our famous jewellers is a collectors dream.
