Pretty as a picture this charming ring is manufactured by one of our lesser known early jewellers - Edward Sansome 1884-1931, and stamped clearly with his makers marks/initials. (See information on Sansome below).

Crafted from 18ct yellow gold and centred with a deep teal/blue Sapphire - Australian sapphire - four claw set to a halo surround of twelve small antique cut diamonds, all of which are set in 18ct white gold.

Below is a pierced open gallery, to swept up shoulders and a half round shank.

A charming antique Australian ring, with a particularly desirable natural Sapphire, what’s not to love!
