Antique Australian 18ct Yellow Gold ‘Irish Harp’ Brooch Circa 1910

Sale price$1,100.00 AUD

Laybys welcome! Contact Us today to secure your dream piece.
A stunning example of early Australian jewellery, crafted from bright 18ct yellow gold and set with natural half pearls.

Dating to the early 20th century and handcrafted in the style or an ‘Irish Harp’.  Almost a quarter of Australian population in 1900 were in fact Irish, so it is little wonder our jewellery catered to such a large demographic!

The beauty of this one is hard to describe, photos do not even do it justice. The contrast between the lush 18ct gold and the vivid white of the very well (and all original) pearls is just stunning.
Pin this one to your favourite lapel or crisp white shirt and wait for the compliments!
