Dating we believe to around the Art Deco era, perhaps a little later, this absolutely wonderful and quite rare ring was crafted by well known Australian jewellery firm ‘CATANACH’S’.

Crafted from 18ct yellow gold and set with an amazing shield shaped Citrine with a carved intaglio of a Welsh Dragon facing to the right.

The Welsh Dragon a heraldic symbol that represents Wales and appears on the national flag of Wales.  Used since the reign of Cadwaldr -  King of Gwynedd from around 655AD.

Bright lemony/orange the Citrine is simply lovely, four corner claw set, to square swept up shoulders and a very solid shank.

Stamped 18ct and of course ‘CATANACH’S’ this superb ring by an iconic Australian jewellery firm is a must for the collector.
